Tentative holds and expirations

From a lead or a proposal, choose Place Hold and select the date and spaces. Holds show on the availability calendar in a distinct color and appear on other leads asking about the same date, so your team can tell a prospect the date is on hold.

Set a default hold length in Settings, such as 7 or 14 days. Before a hold expires, the lead's owner receives a reminder to confirm or release it. When it expires without a signed contract and deposit, the date returns to available automatically. You can extend a hold at any time.

A date changes from held to booked when the contract is signed and the deposit payment clears.
